Share

With a passion for innovation and an indomitable spirit, Fatimata Kane has emerged as a leading figure in the world of entrepreneurship. Hailing from Paris, a vibrant city that mirrors her vivacious energy, this remarkable woman of Senegalese heritage has captivated the business landscape with her visionary approach to sustainable enterprises.

Fatimata’s journey toward success is the result of her resilience and determination. Growing up in the enchanting town of Evreux, nestled in the heart of Normandy, she was raised in a loving family that included one brother and four sisters. As a young woman, she embarked on a path to becoming a nurse, immersing herself in internships within hospital settings. However, the call for change echoed in her heart, propelling her to redirect her career toward the management industry. She pursued a BTS in managing commercial units while working as an operations manager in an industrial cleaning company.

It was during this transformative period that Fatimata’s entrepreneurial spirit took flight. In a bold move that showcased her unwavering belief in her abilities, she founded her own company, KAP MULTISERVICES, specializing in cleaning sites. Remarkably, she embarked on this venture while carrying the precious gift of motherhood, defying the odds with sheer determination. Though initially faced with challenges that tested her resilience, she emerged stronger than ever before.

In 2015, Fatimata gave life to BIOKIDé, an exceptional high-end cosmetics company centered around the magnificent baobab oil—a treasure of Senegal, her ancestral homeland, and other African nations. Fueled by her profound love for luxury and art, BIOKIDé allowed her to merge these passions harmoniously while drawing inspiration from the world around her. Fatimata ensured that every aspect of her brand upheld the utmost respect for stakeholders, from meticulous production to responsible distribution, while safeguarding the delicate balance of our ecosystem.

In 2014, Fatimata clinched the prestigious ‘Audace’ award in France’s ‘Créatrice d’avenir’ regional contest. With this accolade, her industrial cleaning company swiftly established a reputable presence in the construction site domain, granting her the remarkable opportunity to work on France’s largest construction site— one of her proudest moments.

The pursuit of excellence is deeply ingrained in Fatimata’s DNA, as evidenced by BIOKIDé’s current journey towards certification by ‘Positive Luxury’ with the coveted ‘Butterfly Mark.’  As an independent certification that upholds the highest standards of innovation, verified practices, and environmental and social responsibility, the Butterfly Mark proves BIOKIDé’s exceptional commitment to sustainable luxury.

Fatimata finds solace and inspiration in her 8-year-old son, who she calls her ‘source of motivation.’ Additionally, she draws inspiration from two incredible women who have made an indelible mark on her life— her mother’s boundlessly kind and benevolent nature and Oprah Winfrey’s awe-inspiring achievements, which defied expectations to build an empire from humble beginnings.

Reflecting upon the barriers she has encountered as a female leader, Fatimata cites financial constraints as her most significant hurdle. Braving the competitive, male-dominated landscape, she fearlessly established two prominent structures without an abundance of financial resources. While the journey was undoubtedly challenging, Fatimata rose above adversity, demonstrating her technical prowess to skeptical clients and fostering cohesion among her predominantly male team.

Fatimata’s pursuit of growth and knowledge has become the cornerstone of her success. She possesses an insatiable curiosity, always seeking new avenues for growth and learning to refine her expertise.

With a powerful message of empowerment, Fatimata extends her support to aspiring women entrepreneurs worldwide. She boldly declares that entrepreneurship knows no gender boundaries, urging women to shatter the glass ceiling. “Set precise and ambitious goals,” she adds. Fatimata wholeheartedly believes that with meticulous organization, unyielding perseverance, and a delicate balance between family and entrepreneurial life, women can undoubtedly thrive and flourish in the dynamic world of entrepreneurship.

In a remarkable triumph for her brand, BIOKIDé has been selected as the esteemed winner to integrate the revolutionary Ether by cloud concept store, spearheaded by promoter Aldar, in Abu Dhabi. This momentous achievement establishes BIOKIDé as one of the pioneering French brands showcasing their exceptional products in this innovative space that reimagines the essence of retail.

Ether serves as a veritable one-stop shop, appealing to both impulse buyers and conscious consumers in search of bespoke experiences tailored to their individuality.

Fatimata Kane is more than a Global Entrepreneur—she is a trailblazing force of nature. Her remarkable journey, fueled by a relentless pursuit of sustainability and excellence, inspires aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide. With her indomitable spirit, unwavering vision, and unyielding commitment to fostering positive change, she continues to shape a world where entrepreneurial success knows no bounds.
